Sephora Beauty Insider Sale Wants & Must Haves, Spring 2020

The Sephora Beauty Insider Sale is back again and my cart is waaay too full. Skin care has quickly become my addiction and I couldn’t be more obsessed with trying new products and adding to my routine. If you are newer to skin care and overwhelmed on where to begin, I wrote this blog post about how to build a skin care routine.

The Sephora Beauty Insider Sale happens twice a year and offers major discounts site wide. Anyone can become a beauty insider (it’s free!) and the more you spend the higher level you become which equals more discounts! Access the discount by logging into your Sephora account and using code SPRINGSAVE. (Breakdown below).

Beauty Insider — Free to join, 10% off site wide April 21st to 27th.

Sephora VIB — Sephora shoppers who spend over $350 a year, 15% off April 21st to 29th.

Sephora VIB Rouge — Sephora shoppers who spend over $1,000 a year, 20% off April 17th to May 1st.

No matter what level of insider status you might have, it is a perfect time to stock up on beauty favorites and products you’ve had your eye on! Because my skincare addiction runs DEEP I wanted to share a few of my recent favorite products.

Must Haves

If you buy nothing else from the Sephora sale, this is my top pick. I was on the wait list for this product and as soon as it came out I ordered. I have been obsessed and wear it daily! I am so diligent about wearing sunscreen (even indoors!) and this chemical sunscreen gives you the best glow! It is lightly tinted so perfect for both no makeup or makeup days! I have been wearing just this for weeks.

I have loved this brand for months and had my eye on this after hearing rave review after rave review about this product, I finally bought it back in early February. I swear by this and it has totally changed my skin! I use this serum at night to unclog my pores and it gives off the slightest tingle which I love because that means it’s working! This gives you the best glow in the morning by working to minimize your pores!

I have been using this for almost a year now and carry it everywhere! I use it as a daily chap-stick and love how smooth it feels. I feel like most chap-sticks make your lips more chapped and are really just a temporary band-aid but this works to repair your lips. There’s a reason this product has over seven-thousand 5 star reviews!

I love a good oil at night (this one’s my fave!) It’s a great way to hydrate dehydrated skin and really trap in product. I was curious to try a daytime oil because I was so hooked on my oils at night! After a lot of research, I decided to try out the Kiehls daytime oil and I’m nothing but impressed! I put this on in the mornings after my vitamin C serum and before my daily moisturizer. It starts your day off with a nice glow!

OLE HENRIKSEN

Vitamin C Truth Serum

I’ve talked about this vitamin C serum before and I just can’t get enough of it! I am almost halfway out! I love this vitamin C serum because it smells like fresh citrus unlike other vitamin C serums. I also love that it has a clear bottle so you can see inside vitamin C can turn a dark color when exposed to air (it goes bad like an orange would in the sun!) so it’s nice to see how fresh it is! They do have a mini size if you are wanting to try!

In My Cart

These are the products that made the cut and are in my cart! They are the products I will actually be purchasing through the sale. All are new to me but I’ve done my research and am ready to commit.

SUMMER FRIDAYS

Jet Lag Mask

This is a newer brand and I’ve heard nothing but great things! I have had my eye on this Jet Lag Mask for a few months and am finally going to get my hands on it after wanting it for so long! I tried a sample in store (this is a product Sephora doesn’t give samples of) and really liked the consistency. This is great for people with dry skin (me!) and I’m excited to try it out! I am going to buy the mini size just because it is a newer product to me.

I have been very anti-eye cream for awhile because I have yet to find one where I can physically see a difference in puffiness and dark circles. My mother about had a heart attack when she found out I wasn’t using one at all so I decided to do some research and wanted to try this Biossance one after reading good things. I tried a sample and WOW I have never scrapped a product out of a tiny sample container like I have this eye gel. I noticed a difference after one night! When I finally ran out my eyes went back to their veiny-puffy selves and I knew I needed this eye gel on my counter!

Because I am so hooked on the Biossance eye cream (above) I really wanted to try more of this brand. I have this set in my cart as well I might be buying but I will definitely be trying this Rose Travel Duo because I am really curious about this rose oil. I love that it is vitamin C in it! It has great reviews and for the price point ($25!) I love that I can try two products for the price of one. Oils always last me forever so I can’t justify the full size purchase.

ISLE OF PARADISE

Self Tanning Drops

I have been so curious to try these drops after hearing everyone and their mother talk about how amazing they are. After hearing so many rave reviews I am nothing but curious to see how they work. I will admit, I am doubting how much they truly work a tad but I will report back! I figured with summer around the corner I have every excuse to be a little extra tan and snagging the at 20% off doesn’t hurt!

I have been wanting to try this brand for awhile after hearing and reading good things and this is their most loved product. The Good Genes serum works to exfoliate the surface level of your skin to help improve overall texture and evenness. I’ve also read it helps grip your makeup to your skin better by smoothing overall complexion. Sold!

I’ll also be replacing some of my favorites! Including this cc cream foundation in a lighter shade (no spray tans for two months has me PASTY!) This under-eye concealer I’ve been using since high school! And my tried and true mascara (might as well stock up!)

Wish List

I really wanted to title this section “If I Had All The Money In The World” because let’s be real I can only spend SO much on skincare every month (nervously calculates selling kidney).  Let’s be real, all these products are currently IN my cart and on my wish list but I will absolutely be buying the above where this is the want list!

Finally a makeup product! I am such a skincare gal I am rarely trying new makeup because I rarely wear it! I wore sooo much makeup all the time in college and have loved as I get older I just don’t care and it is a rare event I am wearing foundation. I digress, I have been wanting to try this because it brightens the look of under eye dark circles. This MIGHT be making it on my cart list (ok let’s be real its my cart)

This product has been on my want list for a few weeks but I’m not 100% sold yet. I have read SUCH mixed reviews. Some people say it’s great and really helped with acne scaring and overall glow and some reviews say it felt like water and noticed no difference. I really want to try a sample in store, which isn’t going to happen anytime soon, so I can determine the consistency for myself. What appeals this product to me is that it is an AHA as an oil which intrigues me. I am on the hunt for a good AHA product (AHA’s help even out dull skin tone) so you’ll notice a theme in these next few products.

This product has amazing reviews and is another AHA serum I have been wanting to try. Put the word GLOW in any skincare product and I will spend hours researching it haha. I have not tried anything from this brand so I am curious about it myself. If I were to realistically purchase an AHA this one (as of now) is at the top of my list!

I love Drunk Elephant and have read and heard so many great things about this product. My only hesitation is that I really want a daily use AHA in a serum not a once a week mask. This would be a great product to have and is 100% on my wish list but is just hard to justify for me right now!

I hope you enjoyed this post and have your cart full of goodies to take advantage of the Sephora Beauty Insider sale. As always, do your research and know your skin type before you invest. Sephora luckily has an amazing return policy and has recently extended their policy due to COVID-19. You can read more details on that here! Happy shopping! Who is placing bets on how many wish lists items sneak into my cart?!

xoxo,
