Hi cutie!
June recap coming to you in almost mid-July. I really want to start getting these out once a month within the first week of the month but it just didn’t happen this month. So here are my June favorites for you in mid-July. I am sharing all the posts that I shared in June as well as what all my favorites were. Favorite this, favorite that it will always be a little different to switch things up!

June was beyond busy as I’m sure your June was too! Summer just flies by and I can hardly believe we are already making fall plans and talking sweaters and boots. Summer is my favorite time of the year so I’ve been living up every second! We had two close friends get married in June and Pierce and I were lucky enough to be part of their special days!
Miller also turned one at the end of June!! I can hardly believe my little pup is already one. She has the sweetest personality and Pierce and I were talking how fun it’s been to get to know her and watch her little personality develop. She loves squirrels, playing at the park, pup cups and sticking her head out the car window. It doesn’t take much to please her!
I also got to visit two of my best friends in Chicago this month! I had never been to Chi-town so needless to say it was an absolute blast and I will absolutely be back! I am linking my post with all my recommendations below.
June was also the month my little sister graduated high school! I am so proud of her and all her accomplishments she is so dang smart and is off to TCU this fall to major in chemistry. I am so looking forward to having her close to me these next four years and now just need to convince her to stay forever!

How to Consume Less & Focus on What Makes You Happy
This is a post that has been on my heart for awhile and I really wanted to practice this before I wrote a post about it. I feel like our entire lives are filled with consumption. We are constantly being fed information. Some good, some bad, some we don’t agree with or some that make us envious of what we want/should have.

Tips for Raising a Puppy in a City
My goldendoodle Miller turned one this month! While looking back at the last year and talking to a few friends who have raised their dogs in a backyard, I realized that raising a puppy in a city really is it’s own concept and brings its own set of challenges. I wanted to share a post that really breaks down all my tips for raising a puppy in a city!

My Honest Fashion Pass Review & Why I Canceled My Subscription
After using Fashion Pass for two full months, an online clothing rental company, I decided to cancel my membership. I have a few pros and a few cons for why I decided to make this decision that I realized early on which is why you haven’t seen me talk about them these past few months while I’ve been a paying customer.

My Favorite View in Chicago & My Recommendations
I had the best time visiting one of my best friends in Chicago in June! Check out my mini guide to all the places we ate and played at while I was there. Emma has mastered the art of a cute breakfast and I’m sharing all the details on how you can recreate this exact breakfast date!
Your June Favorite’s
One of the cutest swimsuits I’ve picked up for summer. This color is so cute and I love that the straps are adjustable. Comes in three other colors.
My OG top that I own in too many colors to count. I love the length of this crop it goes with everything and couldn’t be a more practical basic.
What I Bought on Amazon in June
You can view my full Amazon storefront here but I’ll share a few of my favorites I grabbed in June below!
Sunhat: I bought this sunhat after I saw everyone and their mom posting about it on Instagram this month. I can attest that it is my favorite thing for keeping the sun off my face. Here a few reasons I love it, the sun coverage is awesome I’m talking full face, shoulders and chest. It rolls up and makes it so easy to store and toss in a beach bag unlike other bulky hats. You can wear your hair up with it too which is such a plus. Huge fan if you can’t tell. 😉
Get the F* Out of the Sun Book: I bought this book as an avid fan of the author, Lauryn Evarts Bosstick. Her podcast The Skinny Confidential is my absolute favorite and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her new book all about sun protection and her tips and tricks from tons of skin experts, doctors, celebrities, and influencers. I’ve taken the book on every plane I’ve flown on this month and it is packed full of good information!
Artificial Floral Stems: I bought these floral stems off Amazon after I fell in love with these stems I had in my bedroom and needed something similar for my entryway table. I’ve had good luck with stems off Amazon. I love the pack I just purchased because they come in a pack of 10 stems so it really fills the vase.
The Best Wedding Guest Shoes: I bought these nude heels after a previous pair of mine were trashed after too much love. I wanted to find a cheaper pair and preferably a pair that was 3 inches versus my previous 4 inch pair. There are few things I loathe more than barefoot on a dance floor. I just don’t love feet so it grosses me out and I prefer to keep my shoes on so they need to be comfortable! I wore these to two weddings, two rehearsal dinners and another event and they totally pass my test for comfort, style and color. I can’t reccomend them enough espically for the price point. Light colored shoes only last a year anyway!

Other Favorite’s I’m Loving Right Now
The Olympics: I have a serious obsession with the Olympics. It might be a very hidden obsession but I just cannot wait for the Olympics to start at the end of July. I have been keeping up with all the Olympic trials and wanted so badly to go to the gymnastic trials in Fort Worth but we had a wedding that weekend! I know way too much about all the athletes and can’t wait to watch! My favorites are McKayla Skinner (gymnastics) and Gabby Thomas (track and field). I can’t wait to cheer them on!
Metal Straws: I’ve been loving these metal straws lately. I am usually such a plastic straw girl but I’ve been trying to limit buying new ones and switch to metal. I have a big sustainable heart and a goal of mine in 2021 was to limit the amount of one use plastic I was using. I love the color of these and that they come in three sizes.
Sunscreen: If you know me, you know how much I live off sunscreen. I practically buy it in bulk and wear it daily. I’ve been loving this sunscreen with 9% zinc in it for those days by the pool or heavy outdoor activity. I’ve been loving this one for days spent inside working or a light morning walk (code STYLEDZEBRA gets you 15% off).
My New Accent Chairs: I was so happy to finally add a second accent chair to my new apartment this month. It has become my new favorite spot and I love sitting here with my feet up when scrolling through my phone or working on emails/blog work. It’s such a comfortable chair I’m so glad I’ve utilized it so much when I originally just wanted it for overflow seating.
Playing with Miller at the Dog Park: We have been so lucky to make so many great friends in Dallas that also have dogs and I have loved watching Miller play with other dogs this summer. There are few things she loves more than playing with her friends and all it takes is the word PLAY for her to start freaking out and crying by the door. She always makes me stop and remember the simple things in life and her excitement over being able to play always makes me appreciate the small things in life!
That’s all for now! I hope you come back soon, until next time!
xoxo,
Zoe
