I have absolutely loved the sweet friendships I have made through the blogging community. It’s true that friendships are so important and with the pure number of bloggers in the industry I love that so many people are focused on community over competition. There truly is room for everyone and so many of the girls I’ve met agree!
I love the amount of virtual friends I have met through blogging and meeting other girls who support girls!
Virginia has a blog called _MeetVirginia and she also lives in Dallas. About 8 months ago I came across her Instagram and decided to DM her and ask if she ever wanted to shoot together. We met and just instantly clicked and we really vibed with each other’s photo styles.
We had this idea for a super fun girly GALentines shoot together and I just love this gorgeous pink wall. This is such an Instagramable spot in Dallas!! The address is 3121 Ross Ave, Dallas, TX 75204 and it’s called XOXO Social.
It took me forever to track down this location I couldn’t find it online anywhere so I wanted to be sure to share the exact spot so you can shoot there too if you’re interested! 🙂
I also wanted to put together a small little Amazon gift guide for the gals. What I love about a lot of these items is that they are under $20 yaay for showing those we care on a budget haha. Some of these items too are great because you can buy them in a pack!
There is a pack of 10 pink velvet scrunchies for like $6, you could get those and wrap some lollypops with the scrunchie with a little note “Have a Berry Happy Valentine’s Day” or “I’m a Sucker for You!” I love puns too much not to share #sorrynotsorry
There is also a pack of wine stoppers you could gift with a bottle of wine (or not! keep it simple) with a tag “Will You be Wine” or “Partner in Wine”
Ok last pun because I know you are all so sick of me… HAHA a Starbucks gift card (only $5 is sweet too!) with the message “I Like You a Latte.”
Showing your bestie love doesn’t have to be complicated and if its not in the cards this year to splurge on any gifts show those you love them with an Instagram story shout out or a sweet text (with maybe a pun!?!) don’t overthink it!
